General Information and How to Find Us

Riverside is easily accessible from junction 63 off the A1(M) by car and there is plenty of car parking available close to the ground at a cost of £3.00 per day on match days. The nearest railway stations are at Chester-le-Street (approximately 5 minutes away by taxi), Durham (approximately 15 minutes away by taxi), or Newcastle (approximately 20 minutes away by taxi). There is a local bus service from Chester-le-Street which stops close to the ground. The nearest airport is Newcastle Airport which is approximately 20-25 minutes away by taxi.

Ticket Information for Non-Members
Tickets for all matches can be obtained by calling Durham County Cricket Club on 0191 387 1717 and can be purchased in advance or on the day. Ground admission charges a fiver for all! For all County Championship, National League, World Cup Warm Up matches and Tourist matches you pay just £5.00

  Tickets can be paid for by cash, cheque or most major credit cards. For groups of 12 or more there is a 10% discount on all County Championship Matches and National League matches.

Gates open from 9.00 Monday - Saturday and from 11.00 on Sunday's (10.30 on Sunday's in September). During September, the County Championship matches will commence at 10.30am and the National League at 12.30pm. For the floodlit match the gates will open at 2pm.

Facilities for People with Disabilities

Durham County Cricket provides access to all areas for people with disabilities. Viewing points for spectators in wheelchairs are situated throughout the ground. An Induction Loop System is located in the Members Lounge for members who are hard of hearing. Guide dogs are allowed into the ground.
