New Zealand's win over India today at Durham's Racecourse Ground,
England will play the current World Champions, New Zealand, in the
women's ODI final at Chester-le-Street on Saturday 20th July. The
last match in the group stages will be between England and India
at Chester-le-Street on Friday 19th July.
Zealand remain unbeaten in the competition, having defeated England
by seven wickets on Tuesday 16th, and India by five wickets today.
With England beating India and the hosts drawing with New Zealand
last week, they have guaranteed their progress into the Final.
Captain Clare Connor said "it's good to know we're in the Final
in advance, but our match with India on Friday is very important
to us. We've beaten them convincingly once in the competition and
for our confidence going into the Final it's crucial that we put
in another good performance against them".
