Primary School Literacy Competition

Prizes

1st Prize
The winning programme will be professionally printed and distributed to the crowd during the 2 International matches. The winning school will also be given 13 tickets (10 child, 3 adult) to watch one of the two games.

During the 'Lunch Interval' the winning schools will be invited to entertain the crowd by demonstrating their cricketing skills.

Full instruction will be given beforehand in the form of coaching visits delivered by the Cricket Development Officer.

7 Runner's up
The 7 runner's up will each be given 13 tickets (10 child, 3 adult) to watch one of the two games. The winners will be split equally between the Year 5 entries and Year 6 competitions.

During the 'Lunch Interval' the winning schools will be invited to entertain the crowd by demonstrating cricketing skills.

Full instruction will be given beforehand in the form of coaching visits delivered by the Cricket Development Officer.

For entering
For entering the competition every school will be guaranteed 2 free coaching visits and entry into a local Kwik Cricket Festival.

Judging
The competition will be judged by Literacy advisors from across Durham and Cricket celebrities.
