Academy is the lifeblood of Durham C.C.C, having produced ten of
the present playing staff. Sixteen of Durham's playing staff have
been born and bred in the North East, ten of whom have come up through
the highly acclaimed Academy.
success of Durham's Academy has now been recognised by the ECB (England
& Wales Cricket Board) and Sport England by being appointed
as one of seven National Academies.
purpose of the newly formed National Academies is to identify cricketers
from the age of thirteen in the North East who have the potential
of playing at the highest level. The coaching programme available
to the selected group will be as advanced as any in the world and
will therefore require a significant financial investment from Durham
are now looking to businesses in the region to become involved in
the Academy. An Academy Partner scheme has been developed around
a range of hospitality and branding opportunities. The benefits
of the scheme will provide you and your company with a tangible

Academy players reaching the Test Match stage and developing into
World Class Cricketers.
